Firepot meals have a five year shelf-life*, which is achieved uniquely through the dehydration process. Unlike most competitor brands, we don’t use any chemicals or preservatives at all to extend our shelf-life. We find that, for 99% of our customers, five years is more than plenty.
Our shelf-life is marked by a ‘best before end’ date. This only indicates a subtle change in flavour after that point.
